End Concession Culture
Equity and our employers come together at the bargaining table to create working agreements--our contracts. They are documents that both sides spend hundreds of hours working together to create.
Then, after we've agreed, producers turn around and want more from us--one less contract, one less day of EPAs or ECCs, a salary cut. Too often, Equity concedes to these demands. Equity needs to stand up for itself and enforce our hard-won agreements with producers. After all, we're holding up our side of the bargain, why shouldn't they?
As a Delegate, I will push for and support policies that advocate for fewer concessions, and greater accountability from our leaders when concessions are made.
