Transparency

When we join a Union, we join a team.  We agree to band together because we are stronger together.  As members of this team, I believe every member deserves transparency from our union.

Creating this transparency begins with answering this simple question: "Who's running the show?"

While the names of our Senior Staff and Elected Representatives are listed on AEA's website, that information is incredibly difficult to find.  Not only that, but many of the decisions made for our union are made in Committees, and the names of Committee Chairs are not publicly available.  This information should be clearly and easily accessible to all members.

Knowing who is working for us is the first step towards making Equity more transparent.  Beyond this, as a Delegate I will support and fight for measures that encourage increased communication and clarity between our leadership and our membership.
